Simon Engineering was contracted by Trinity Metro for the design of the Sierra Vista Transit Plaza. The project involved the redevelopment of a 0.72-acre urban site. Simon managed a team of 6 sub-consultants and provided civil site design including paving and sidewalks, grading and drainage, signage and markings, and utility coordination. In addition, Simon completed a study to determine the feasibility of including a bio-retention area on site. An extensive evaluation of iSWM criteria and design methodology was performed along with a preliminary layout.
