Simon holds two design contracts with the city of Dallas, as part of the city’s 2017 Bond Program, to design the reconstruction of four (4) residential streets and four (4) alleys at various locations within the City of Dallas. The scope of services across both contracts consists of designing approximately 5600 LF of roadway/alley reconstruction, inlet and storm drainage system replacement, sidewalk replacement and approximately 3200 LF of 8-inch and 12-inch waterline and 3740 LF of 8-inch and 15-inch wastewater line replacement.
CONTRACT 1 – PROJECT GROUP 17-1302. This project consists of designing the reconstruction of two (2) residential streets and four (4) alleys at various locations within the city of Dallas. Simon is managing five (5) subconsultants through the final design. The project consists of approximately 1200 LF of roadway and 2600 LF of alley reconstruction, inlet and storm drainage system replacement, sidewalk replacement and approximately 1200 LF of 8-inch waterline and 1500 LF of 8-inch wastewater line replacement.
CONTRACT 2 – PROJECT GROUP 17-1206. This project consisted of designing the reconstruction of two (2) residential streets in north Dallas. Simon managed three (3) subconsultants (survey, geotechnical, and utility design) through the reconstruction of Crownover Court and Mimms Drive. The project consisted of approximately 1800 LF of roadway reconstruction, inlet and storm drainage system replacement, sidewalk replacement and approximately 900 LF of 12-inch waterline and 12-inch wastewater line replacement.
