Trinity Metro

Simon Engineering is contracted with Trinity Metro to provide on-call IDIQ A/E design and construction management services. Our team is currently assigned nine (9) task orders, one of which is the design of 4 Miscellaneous TexRail Improvement Projects.

Project 1: Final Design of a new 60-inch steel pipe bored under the existing TexRail Mainline. The pipe will connect to the existing 60” RCP to the north and existing 2-6’x4’ RCB to the south.

Project 2: Final design of approximately 25 LF of new 12-inch Class III RCP and concrete riprap within a ditch adjacent to the TEXRail Mainline, and approximately 20 LF of new 3’x3’ RCB to connect to and existing RCB crossing the TEXRail Mainline.

Project 3: Final design of approximately 300 LF of Hike and Bike Trail replacement and adjacent soil stabilization.

Project 4: Final design for approximately 450 LF of slope stabilization between the Brumlow Channel and the TexRail Mainline.
