North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA)
SEC currently manages the preparation of contract documents and specifications for the development of new corridors and improvements to existing toll roads in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. To ensure specifications meet standard requirements and are constructible, we closely coordinate with NTTA departments, the American General Contractors and the contracting community.
Specifications developed are:
- Natural Grey or Integrally Colored Concrete
- High Friction Surface Treatment
- Excavate and dispose of industrial waste
- Crushed limestone aggregate ground cover
- Interlocking articulating concrete block with cable revetment system
Projects managed are:
- Southwest Parkway/Chisolm Trail - a new corridor that required coordination across six separate sections of roadway and four separate managers, all at an accelerated schedule
- All Electronic Toll Collection for President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT), Addison Airport Toll Tunnel (AATT) and Dallas North Tollway (DNT) - conversion to cashless tolling
- PGBT Western Extension (SH 161) Phase 2 Gantry Construction
