

Nikki is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. In May 1993, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Niki began her career in the Houston area. During her tenure there, she designed super-elevated roadways, storm sewer systems, traffic control plans and detour layouts for the Beltway 8/US 59 Interchange. She also designed roadway plans for the Fuqua Park and Ride West
Shortly thereafter, Nikki took an opportunity to transfer to the Dallas area where she has spent the last thirteen years involved in the design of a variety of transportation projects. These projects include the structural design of retaining walls and bridges for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Light Rail Starter System as well as various roadways, water, and sanitary sewer design projects. As part of the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) team for the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), Nikki's most recent role was serving as Deputy Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) manager, providing oversight of NTTA CIP projects.
Active participation in her profession and her community are very important to Nikki. She is the Director of Programs for the DFW Chapter of the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) as well as co-chair of the chapter's Diversity Committee, a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and Frisco Sunrise Rotary Club. She is also a graduate of Leadership Frisco, Class 13, sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
